The 1921-S Morgan Dollar is the last coin minted in the Morgan Silver Dollar series. There were 21,695,000 1921-S dollars minted and because of this high mintage, there are many to go around and be found in all conditions and grades. The strikes are generally bad. All of the coins have a small S mintmark. Many VAM varieties of 1921-S VAM-1B are known for being a series of die gouges on Lady Liberty's headpiece. The 1921-S Morgan Silver Dollar is worth about $30 in MS-60 and $10,000 as MS-66.
