At Philadelphia, it had a mintage of 9,163,975, it had a mintage of 206,000 at Carson City, New Orleans had minted 5,708,000, and San Francisco minted 12,760,000. Although there were no errors in this year, the Carson City variety is worth a pretty penny even in good condition, starting at about $400. The 1881-O can be worth up to $20,000 as a MS-66.
