The 1891 Morgan Silver Dollar

The 1891 Morgan Silver Dollar was the fourteenth year that the Morgan Dollar was in production. It was minted in Philadelphia, San Francisco, New Orleans, and Carson City. The mintages for this year are:

Philadelphia-8,694,206

Carson City-1,618,000

New Orleans-7,954,529

San Francisco-5,296,000

There were no special variety or error coins produced this year. The 1891 Morgan Dollar in MS-65 condition can be worth up to $40,000.
