1904 Morgan Silver Dollar

1904-P Morgan Silver Dollar AU

The 1904 Morgan is not great year with bad strike and luster. There were 2,788,000 regular coins mined along with 650 proof dollars. The nicer dollars are difficult to acquire. The proof coins are also struck lightly. The 1904 Morgan Silver Dollar in MS-60 is worth about $100 and up to $13,000 in MS-66. The 1904 Proof Dollar is worth about $1,400 in PF-60 and then $25,000 as a PF-67.

  1. Please correct your pricing comments about the 1904-0 Morgan Silver Dollar. Your website indicates the value of a (I assume – PCGS or NGC graded)… a MS-66 1904-O to be priced “up to $13,000.” THIS IS NOT CORRECT. If you will check the current PCGS pricing guide you will find that it is the… MS-67 1904-O Morgan Silver Dollar which is priced up to… $13,500.

Why do is know this? I own two (2) of them and at auction graded by NGS or PCGS would fetch… between…$8,400 to $9,000 each… in todays market. (July 26, 2010)

AGAIN…PLEASE CORRECT YOUR TYPO ERROR. THANKS R.V.
